Earlier this year as a board member for the Institute of General Semantics, I was posed three questions:
My response became an essay just published in our journal, ETC: A Review of General Semantics. The essay is the first for the new column titled “Perspectives.”
The essay — titled […]
This morning I found out that one of my SlateShots — a very short introductory clip tailored to masthead an Actors Access profile — was chosen for the first ever ActorIntro SlateShot Hall of Fame.
My SlateShot — which mentions my being like the male version of Flo from Progressive — appears around 2:50 in the video.

This evening I performed an improvised sermon as the Reverend Raymond Nader on the audience suggestion of “Dropping Water Bombs Out The Window” for Aaron Simms’s Inwood variety show The Back Porch.
Here is video of my sermon:
A friend of mine turned me on to an article running in The Gothamist today, titled “Pizza-Eating Foot Race Returns to Tompkins Square Park.” And she pointed out that the guy in the photo atop the article — who looks quite deranged as he attempts to inhale a slice of pizza, I might add — looked a lot like me.

Today I did a photo shoot with photographer Deborah Lopez to update my headshots.

State of Affairs, the new NBC series starring Katherine Heigl in which I play an aptly named CIA analyst named Ben, comes out at 10pm on Monday, November 17, 2014.
An essay I wrote this year redefining the field of semantics to better understand and define the field of general semantics was recently published in the journal ETC: A Review of General Semantics.
The essay — titled “On Semantics and General Semantics: Redefining the Former to Understand the Latter” — appears in ETC Volume 70, Issue 3 and kicks off the issue as the lead article.
This morning I ran the 2013 NYC Cupcake Run in Astoria Park, in Astoria, Queens. My official race time was 21:13, which equated to 2nd place! (A great way to celebrate my birthday!)

Last night into early this morning I attended the wrap party for Season 5 of the television series White Collar.
This morning I ran the 2013 Fifth Avenue Mile along Central Park in Manhattan. I ran it in 5:49.
