Minutes ago, two of my acting unions–the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA)–merged to become one labor union–SAG-AFTRA. I am not a member of SAG-AFTRA.
Over the past few months, I’ve been considering a total redesign of my website, Ben Hauck online. Here it is!
Since my focus is now exclusively on my acting career, I wanted to centralize my acting career on my website. On November 15, 2011, I shot with photographer Dario Acosta as a runner for a project he’s working on. We were aiming for gritty runner shots and portraits. We did shots of me running in place, and we did shots of me in front of a background made up of old tile flooring.
The shots were incredible. Dario will be taking the running shots and superimposing them over gritty exterior shots to give the sense that I’m running outdoors. For now, below are some of the portraits from the shoot. I’m really pleased with them […]
On Sunday, March 18, 2012, at 7pm, I will be performing as The Reverend Raymond Nader a completely improvised sermon based on an audience suggestion.
The performance will be part of Performance Mix at Joyce SoHo, a festival of curated acts produced by the New Dance Alliance in association with the Joyce SoHo. The Reverend’s sermon will be the final act of the week-long festival, and it will be followed by a closing night party with tapas, […]

This time is my second-fastest marathon ever. I missed beating my personal record (set in Philadelphia in 2009) by 15 seconds.
