I just heard word today that The Baster, the romantic comedy for which I stood in for Jason Bateman, has officially changed its name to The Switch. This sounds like a better, more pronounceable (!) name for the film. Simple and brilliant!
I need to get around to updating my website’s references to The Baster so they’re now The Switch.
For more information on the film, with a projected release date of August 20th, 2010, in the USA, click below:
Today I stood in for Benjamin Sinclair and Patrick Yeoman on Episode 119 (“There Is No Superman”) for the television series Mercy.
Today I played a penthouse cocktail party guest for a commercial titled “Lovely” for a Coty Playboy fragrance.
Today I played a wardrobe assistant on Episode 421 of the television series 30 Rock.

Yesterday into early this morning I played a beefeater, a club goer, and even a bouncer in addition to standing in for Episode 418 (“London Calling”) of the television series Ugly Betty. The beefeater bit should be fun.

Watch for me in Season 2 of Showtime’s awesome series, Nurse Jackie! The first episode (which I’ve gotten to see) is fantastic and it comes out on March 22, 2010, at 10pm Eastern.
You will see my scooting around in the episodes toward the end of the season. In addition to playing a doctor, I was the stand-in for Peter Facinelli for much of the second half of the season. Peter Facinelli plays Dr. Cooper, aka Coop.
I just saw the subway posters up today and had […]
I’ve been working on a website dedicated to the work of the TV/film stand-in. It’s called Stand-In Central and I officially released it earlier in the day.
Stand-In Central is aimed at being a friendly and helpful resource for learning how to do the job of the stand-in. It features a Tips & Tricks Blog, a definition of the stand-in along with a list of responsibilities, an outline of equipment needed, a narrative of the typical routine, and a glossary. You can also discuss posts or ask a question about standing in and have Stand-In Central […]
