The Character of Joey from “Zombie Swipeout”
About This Project
On May 24, 2012, I played Joey, the lead character in the video game Zombie Swipeout by Zynga, in a promotion that launched the game. In the promotion, I was followed through the streets of New York City by zombies, who were “donating blood” to New Yorkers in the form of “blood pops.” (They were actually very delicious hibiscus-mint popsicles.)
Creative agency Manifold (built from contacts I had long ago at Yahoo!) brought me aboard for this cool project. The video was created from the b-roll footage shot during the event.
