I have received entry into the Philly Marathon 2010!

This morning I bit the bullet and signed up for my second marathon for this year, occurring just 2 weeks after the NYC Marathon!

All runners must come to The Philadelphia Marathon Health and Fitness Expo to pickup up their race bibs (numbers-remove), (chips-remove), race packets and event shirts. Expo hours at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Hall D, 11th & Arch Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19107 are: Friday, November 19th, – 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20th , – 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

I registered it because it was on my mind, getting a rather inexpensive entry was ending by week’s end and I feared forgetting, and I had a $5 coupon to use. All in all, it cost about $80 to sign up.

To do? Get a hotel room. Maybe get a train ticket. My friend Elizabeth Corkum is also running the Philadelphia Marathon and has a car and family there, so I may try to bum a ride. (Elizabeth, if you’re reading this, you’re forewarned!)
