Hi! I’m Ben Hauck.

I’m an actor.

I’m also a voiceover artist.

I wrote a book on improv, too.

Current Projects

May 2025 – April was a busy one on the whole, pretty much always with something going on!

Audiobooks were a prominent feature in April, when I completed production on three audiobooks. By the end of April, I produced audiobook versions of Kohana: The Name He Earned by Rhiannon Martin and Believe in Yourself: A Self-Confidence Workbook to Overcome Self-Doubt, Heal Low Self-Esteem, and Build Inner Strength by David H. Carter. Before them, I produced the audiobook for Near-Death Experiences by Scott L. Smith, Jr.

That last job led to a subsequent audiobook booking — Susan Johnson’s English translation of Gerhard Cardinal Müller’s book, God’s Presence in the Eucharist and in the World: Meditations for Union with God. That audiobook will go into production this month.  Also this month I will also be producing my first trilogy of audiobooks, a three-part memoir by Mick Miller. Perhaps I’ll be adding more titles to my production queue this month. Let’s hope so!

Aside from the three above, here are the audiobooks I’ve produced so far in 2025:

With all that recording work, I still did not complete work on the audiobook for my 2012 book Long-Form Improv, which has been a side project on which I have put no time pressure to complete. I suppose I can start calling its audiobook “long-awaited”!

The list of all my audiobooks narrated to date is compiled here on my voiceover website, Voiceoverpro.co.  That business is my related to my other voiceover businesses with my wife: Voiced By Us and PoliticalVoiceovers.com.

My work as a stand-in on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver has continued with Season 12. I am very much enjoying work on this new season on the show, which is my 11th season aside from a few episodes in the first season. Aside from that, last month I appeared in a popular segment on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Also in April I did some work as a background actor on a film.

Because of all the audiobook work, I didn’t get to run much this past month.  But I’ve been eating a LOT of salad. Let’s see how this month for my health — it’ll be an interesting one, for sure!
