In a week's time--the evening of Valentine's Day, to be exact--I will be performing a Pentecostal-style improvised sermon as The Reverend Raymond Nader.
I will be doing this as part of the variety show Crones, Ducks, and Babes, curated and hosted by the eminent entertainer, Victoria Libertore. I am grateful that Victoria is having me back for yet another sermon in her long-running show.
If you haven't heard, I will have a very special guest in the audience, whose identity I'm not revealing. Also, I will be debuting a new element to my improvised sermons. I hope you'll come out to see a performance that will no doubt leave me sweaty and hopefully leave you ecstatic.
For information on the show, and to reserve tickets for this Valentine's Evening event, click here.

This evening I played host for a speed-dating event called Diet Dr. Pepper Love at First Sip presented by Yahoo! at Dave & Buster's in Times Square.
The event attracted a large number of singles who went on two-minute dates with each other. At the end of the evening, we raffled off some prizes and crowned a finalist couple who will have a chance to win a trip to Paris together for their first date. (We will crown Philadelphia and Chicago finalists Wednesday and Friday respectively. I'll also be hosting those events.)
Starting February 19th, visit http://dietdrpepperdate.yahoo.com to cast your vote for who should win the trip to Paris!

Last evening I trained out to Philadelphia to play host for a speed-dating event called Diet Dr. Pepper Love at First Sip presented by Yahoo! at Dave & Buster's at Penn's Landing.
Like the prior night, the event attracted a large number of singles who went on two-minute dates with each other. At the end of the evening, we raffled off some prizes and crowned a finalist couple who will have a chance to win a trip to Paris together for their first date. (We crowned an NYC finalist couple and will crown Chicago finalists Friday. I play host for all three events.)
Starting February 19th, visit http://dietdrpepperdate.yahoo.com to cast your vote for who should win the trip to Paris. You'll also have a chance to win a trip to Paris, as well as daily prizes!
Today I registered with Kee Casting. Starting in mid-March, they will be handling casting for the Untitled Marc Lawrence Project. I registered today as a potential stand-in for Hugh Grant for the film.

Last evening in Chicago I played host for a speed-dating event called Diet Dr. Pepper Love at First Sip presented by Yahoo! at Dave & Buster's.
This was the last evening of the event, which also took place in NYC and Philadelphia earlier in the week.
Starting February 19th, visit http://dietdrpepperdate.yahoo.com to cast your vote for who should win the trip to Paris. You'll also have a chance to win a trip to Paris, as well as daily prizes!
There should also be video featuring me on the site at that time. The gig was extraordinarily fun, and I got to play around a lot!

Last night I performed an improvised sermon as The Reverend Raymond Nader for Victoria Libertore's long-running variety show at Dixon Place titled Crones, Ducks & Babes. In the sermon, I debuted the inclusion of a looping pedal in my act.
I've put video of the sermon (inspired by the audience suggestion of "lust") on my website, which you can access from Acting > Videos, or just by clicking here.

Today I launched DamonHair.com, the website for hairstylist Damon Alfonso.
Damon has been my hairstylist for close to a decade, and we've become good friends. He recently launched his own salon called Damon Hair Studio. As a show of support, I offered to design a website for him. The site has turned into his personal hairstyling website, and he's working with a different designer for his salon's website.
I have more details about the process of building this site in the Web Design section of my interests page.
Six videos from my hosting gig for Diet Dr. Pepper Love at First Sip presented by Yahoo! are online on the microsite for the event.
To view the fun videos, visit http://dietdrpepperdate.yahoo.com.
Photos of the event are also on the microsite.
And vote! One voter will win a trip to Paris, France. You can also vote every day for a chance to win daily prizes.

This morning I had a fitting for a role as a bakery patron for the Untitled Nancy Meyers Project.
My latest essay in ETC: A Review of General Semantics is now online!
I scanned the article as a .pdf version wasn't immediately available. (My apologies for the huge filesize; hopefully I can bring it down in the future.)
To read the article, visit Writing > Essays & Reports > Published Essays, or click here.

I've just uploaded a better PDF version of my recently published essay "A Simple Definition of General Semantics," which appears in Vol. 65, No. 4, of ETC: A Review of General Semantics. This new upload brings the filesize down from about 30MB to about 405kb. You can find the essay here.
Also, I uploaded the Errata that appeared in the same issue of ETC. The errata refers to some typesetting errors included in my last published essay, "Developing the Experience of Group Mind." It made me happy to see them run this errata as some of my essay read nonsensically because of the errors. You can find the errata under its respective essay here.
Today I played a server for Episode 222 ("Southern Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" "Spain Man") of the television series Gossip Girl.
