Last night at Dixon Place, as a part of Howling Vic's variety-burlesque show Crones, Ducks & Babes: A Howling Vic Revue, I did an audience-inspired sermon as The Reverend Raymond Nader. The suggestion I got was "obsessive-compulsive disorder." (I asked for a mental illness.)
I hope to have video of the improvised sermon online tonight. Check my video section for other improvised sermons I've done as The Reverend Raymond Nader.
Meanwhile, next Thursday, 11/8, I'll doing the reading of a couple of plays for Martin H. Levinson at the New York Society for General Semantics meeting. In one of the plays, I get to play Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. I'm looking forward to that!
Check my upcoming page for all the details.
I've uploaded yesterday's sermon. Click below on media > videos, or just click here and scroll down to the sermon titled "Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder."

Tonight I did readings of two of Martin H. Levinson's new plays: Iraq: The Musical and Levinson/Ahmadinejad--Think Frost/Nixon without the Glitz. They were for a meeting of the New York Society for General Semantics and attracted a nice crowd.
Gleefully, I got to play Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the second play!

Today I ran a 4-hour intensive seminar on improvisation techniques for Infusion Development at Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. Infusion was having its Manager's Retreat at the resort.
Tomorrow I will be running mini-sessions of improvisation for Infusion's second day of meetings at the resort.

I just got a copy of another improvised sermon I did as The Reverend Raymond Nader. This one was done in the spring as a part of Ding Dang in Space!, the sequel to the show in which I debuted this wild preaching character.
The new improvised sermon is based on the suggestion of "chaps" and can be found on my video page.
I'm promised some more video copies of my sermons from the spring. I can't wait to get them up!
