★ News from July 2006:
Next week it looks as if I will be standing in for Leonardo DiCaprio during several days of reshoots for the film The Departed. Martin Scorsese directs.
If you remember back, I was up for his stand-in in the spring of 2005. Finally they get around to calling me! :)

I am looking forward to the opportunity to serve as the new anchor for the daily news vlog Rocketboom.
Amanda Congdon is no doubt irreplaceable. With that statement firmly accepted, I hope to have the opportunity to continue the evolution of Rocketboom in exciting directions as its daily news anchor and to get it back on virtual air as soon as possible.
If you have contact with Producer Andrew Baron, please support my interest and endeavor to serve as the news anchor for Rocketboom. I need a ton of support in my quest. As you know, I have the ability and talent. What I lack is the connection.
I don't pray. Perhaps I should pick up the practice. Until now, the prayer will be this posting in my news blog, in hopes it will be picked up by the powers that serve.

Over the last three days, I worked as Leonardo DiCaprio's stand-in on reshoots for the film The Departed. The director was Martin Scorsese. Over the course of the three days, we shot in an armory in Manhattan, a small restaurant in Cobble Hill, we blew up a car in the Brooklyn Navy Yard around amazing thunderstorms, plus we wrapped overnight in White Plains after the most comfortable, gorgeous night outdoors. I worked with Leo, Matt Damon, Vera Farmiga, Martin Scorsese, and DP Michael Ballhaus, not to mention an amazing crew!

Overnight in Lower Manhattan I worked on the film The Brave One. In attendance were director Neil Jordan, as well as actors Terrence Howard and Jodie Foster.
I'm zonked.
