★ News from June 2006:
Tonight I start 4-5 nights of work on the film Spider-Man 3.

(Friday)
Overnight I played an E.S.U. officer (i.e., a SWAT team member) in the film Spider-Man 3.
I have a few more shoot dates coming up. Hopefully I can snap a photo of my outfit. It's pretty badass. It's funny how women look at you with much more interest when you're wearing a uniform.

Overnight I had my final night (for now at least) as an E.S.U. officer (i.e., a SWAT team member) in the film Spider-Man 3. There should be some interesting quick footage of me during the final sequence of the film provided it remains in the film.
(I'm exhausted.)
Good news! My submission for the Making Sense Conference sponsored by the Institute of General Semantics entitled "On Knitting Sweaters during Conferences" was accepted! It looks as if I will make a presentation of the submission, a speech, in late October in Ft. Worth. A Ben Hauck First!

Today I made the front of Yahoo! by interviewing comedian Orny Adams inside the Yahoo! Answers "World's Biggest Brain" atop the world famous Hard Rock Café marquee in Times Square.
Here is the video from the interview!
In addition to Orny, I had an amazing time talking with Russell Simmons (Chairman of Rush Communications and hip-hop icon | photo ), Randall Pinkett (Apprentice's Season 4 winner), Howard Sherman (Executive Director of the American Theatre Wing), Bill Berloni (world renowned animal trainer), and Deborah Henson-Conant (electrifying electric harpist and storyteller).
For more videos from the event, click here. More will be added soon! Currently there are videos of my talks with Orny, Beth O, and Arianna Huffington, as well as the exciting unveiling of the "World's Biggest Brain."
Don't forget to check out the live webcast, going on now and until tomorrow, June 15th, at 7pm!

I think the appropriate phrase is "Holy sh*t!": I made the front of Yahoo! AGAIN. Yesterday morning, I had the honor and privilege of interviewing Dr. Deepak Chopra. Yahoo! then put one of the two interviews I did with him on the very front of the new Yahoo! homepage. You see Dr. Chopra's face on the front page, and if you click on it, you're taken to our interview, and there I am!
Here's a screenshot.

Today I worked on the film The Nanny Diaries, as the stand-in for Chris Evans, who is playing Harvard Hottie. Scarlett Johansson was in the scene as well. We shot on the roof of a West Village apartment building.

WireImage covered the Yahoo! Answers Ask The Planet "World's Biggest Brain" event for whose webcast I was the on-air host.
Many of the photos WireImage took are online and available at their website. You can access directly the images by clicking here (do a search for "yahoo"). Other Images Press apparently took photos, too. Their images are available here.
Here is an article about the event. Here is the press release.

Just an aside: Things are shaping up to be a pretty crazy year. There's a lot of "value" swirling around, and it's trippy. It feels pretty good. It feels a little bit out of my control. And it feels rather wonderful.
There's so much texture to it, too. So much different good stuff pulling at me, rather than just one good thing. It's quite strange, but not unfathomable.
That is all. This is intentionally vague, left as a marker for my mind to refer back to. Good vibes into the future!
