This evening I performed an improvised sermon as the Reverend Raymond Nader on the audience suggestion of “Dropping Water Bombs Out The Window” for Aaron Simms’s Inwood variety show The Back Porch.

On Thursday evening, May 30, 2014, at 7pm, I will be performing a comic improvised sermon as the Reverend Raymond Nader for the Unscripted New York Improvised Theatre & Film Festival at Theatre 54 in New York City.
I performed in the inaugural festival last year and I was invited to return this year for another rocking Pentecostal-style sermon.
The festival runs Wednesday-Sunday, May 29-June 2 at Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios, 244 W. 54th St., 12th Floor, in Midtown Manhattan.

This afternoon I was interviewed by Lucy-Jade Norris for her new series On Deck with Lucy. The interview should be out in October. In it, we spoke of my new book Long-Form Improv, my all-improvised web series The Infinite Need, and the improvised sermons I do as the Reverend Raymond Nader.

On Saturday, June 23, 2012, I will be performing as The Reverend Raymond Nader a completely improvised sermon based on audience suggestion.
The performance will be part of The Back Porch, a free vaudeville show that presents quality imaginative entertainment to the community of Northern Manhattan and Inwood. The show is hosted by Aaron Simms.
I just heard word that I’ve been granted a second performance date for performing an improvised sermon as The Reverend Raymond Nader as part of the Unscripted New York Improvised Theatre Festival.
