In addition to performing on Thursday, May 24, at 7pm, I’ll also be performing the Wednesday before, May 23, at 8pm.

The performances will be part of Unscripted New York Improvised Theatre Festival, a festival of improvised acts produced by Artistic New Directions. The Reverend’s sermon on Wednesday will open for the improv group known as “Our Town, and on Thursday will be opening for the improv group STEELE/QUINN.

The Reverend’s performance on 5/23 is at 8pm. The Reverend’s performance on 5/24 is at 7pm.

All performances and events will be held at Theatre 54 (244 W. 54th St., 12th Fl). Ticket information can be found on the Unscripted website.

The suggestion I got was a composite of “bikini wax” and the sound “sss” I heard in the audience when I solicted a suggestion. It turned out to be one of my best sermons to date.

It’s a party and performance with Cynthia Hopkins, Maddy Mann & Lexie Miller, Comedian Robin Cloud, The Reverend Raymond Nader as well as burlesque beauties making their debut: Kstar, Jazabel, Maya Lusion, Poisoned Ivy and Reverend Harness! According to legend, Countess Elizabeth Bathory is the most prolific female serial killer in history. Drinking and bathing in the blood of her victims, she tortured and killed hundreds of women. Intrigued by this true story, solo performer Victoria Libertore channels Bathory’s essence with intensity, a dose of camp and a hint of insanity.
