Professional Bio

Ben Hauck has appeared on numerous television series including State of AffairsMomsters: When Moms Go BadNurse Jackie30 RockWhite Collar, Law & OrderLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Equally skilled in drama and comedy, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Otterbein.

Ben is the author of the book Long-Form Improv: The Complete Guide to Creating Characters, Sustaining Scenes, and Performing Extraordinary Harolds, published by Allworth Press in 2012.

Ben Hauck has performed as an improviser both in the United States and in England with improv teams and as the character The Reverend Raymond Nader, a Pentecostal evangelist who performs comic improvised sermons.

His improvised sermon act won the Emerging Artist Award at the 2013 Unscripted New York Improvised Theatre & Film Festival.

Ben has performed scripted and unscripted work at The Barrow Group, The Actors’ Playhouse, the New York International Fringe Festival, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Columbia University, and at a broad range of community and variety venues. His improv talent has been employed numerous times as a host of live webcasts for clients like Yahoo! and Dr. Pepper.

Ben has also starred in the award-winning, all-improvised comedic web series The Infinite Need.

Ben is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the Actors’ Equity Association.

He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Otterbein and trained in improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. He has over 25 years of onstage and onscreen performance experience.
