Ben Hauck

Ben Hauck

I’ve won awards in a few poetry contests — oddly, many of which are religious poetry contests.

Below is my collection of poems.

About My Poems

I tend to write poems when I’m very emotionally moved and less inclined to do so if things are pretty normal. Back when I was in high school and college, I took to writing a lot of poems outside this tenet, instead focusing on wordplay. To this day in my poetry, the wordplay lasts; most of my poems are abundant with puns but their appearance is often clandestine.

I really like this short poem. It is actually a commentary on science.

(I think it actually has a long title but I don’t recall it offhand.)
