Check another thing off the to-do list: I have a new blog!
I’ve officially released my general semantics blog titled “Off the Map.” It can be found at the following address:
You can also access it via the “GS Blog” box at the right.
This blog is special in that it will have a companion Feature regularly running in ETC: A Review of General Semantics, the journal for general semantics. To subscribe to ETC, become a member of the Institute of General Semantics. You can do so by clicking here.
The blog will feature my current ideas and understandings about general semantics. I regularly have a flow of ideas, so the content should be updated fairly regularly but I have no set schedule for writing in the blog. My best guess is that I’ll have a new entry every few weeks, though it may be more or less depending on my interest and time. Currenty I have 3 entries already posted.
I hope you’ll check it out. You can also subscribe to it via RSS. The design is pretty stylish. It’s a typography-centered blog that also includes some slick animation. It’s just about what I was looking for in a theme for this blog.

I got video of the comic improvised sermon I did last night at the Brooklyn Arts Exchange as the Reverend Raymond Nader.
The suggestion I got was a composite of “bikini wax” and the sound “sss” I heard in the audience when I solicted a suggestion. It turned out to be one of my best sermons to date.
Watch it here.

I just put on my Videos page the videos from two different improvised sermons I did as The Reverend Raymond Nader this weekend in the curated variety show titled “Stone Skipping” at the Brooklyn Arts Exchange. The sermons were inspired by the audience suggestions of “Healthcare” and “Pedophilia.”
- The Videos:
- Friday night’s improvised sermon: “Healthcare”
- Saturday night’s improvised sermon: “Pedophilia”

I’ve just gotten the brochure from the photo shoot I did on the New Jersey shore on August 5, 2009, and I’ve put it online in my Gallery under “Print & Modeling Work.”
Have a look! Playing my wife in the photo is the lovely Lisa Landino.

In it is included my essay titled “The Day Michael Jackson Died.” I will put the essay online as soon as I get ahold of a .pdf of the essay.
