Tweaking the Organization of Ben Hauck online
In thinking about my career identity, I made some shifts in promotional focus on my website as reflected in the “about Ben Hauck” box to the right.
With that shift in identity meant a shift in some of the organization of the menu. I’ve grouped Videos and Gallery with Acting to accentuate the acting aspect of my career pursuits, moving Writing and Teaching over to the side a bit.
This is logical relative to my career pursuits, but it’s also a bit more logical for the general visitor who’s coming to my site for acting information; videos and photos would need to be conceptually closer to an Acting section than hierarchically separated in the menu as it was before.
I may be making other shifts in the new year as I regear my acting career. Stay tuned!

Trip to Montreal to See Milton Dawes
I just got back from a whirlwind trip to see Milton Dawes, whose website titled “General Semantics” I webmaster. I was at his home in Montreal to teach him how to use his website, in particular his blog. I was only in Montreal for about 5 hours after bussing then bussing out. Whoa!

In the film, I was the stand-in for Jason Bateman. In the trailer, you’ll see my feet in the beginning (sperm rains down on them–not as bad as it sounds). You’ll also see my hand holding the white cup toward the middle.
So excited! The film is out August 20th, 2010.
