I’ve added a number of items to the website since its grand reopening on January 3rd. Here is a tally of the changes:

  • I added a little audio introduction to my website. Look for it on the homepage in the gray box under the dynamic content gallery, just to the right of my name. Got the idea from Amy Rivard‘s website. Thanks for the idea, Amy!
  • My Songs page is now functional.
  • My Poems page is also now functional.
  • I updated the blog with posts backdated to October 2009, which was when my old host started causing me problems.
  • I installed a Google Custom Search box to my OLD NEWS ARCHIVES. It doesn’t seem to work perfectly, at least not yet, but it will help dig out information from my old news blog that went kerblooey when my web host corrupted my past website.

Still on the docket are these additions:

  • I need to add my new headshots. I have an appointment to get them retouched and made this coming Thursday. Hopefully I can get them online soon after then.
  • I have at least one photo shoot with Damon Alfonso to put online.
  • I also have photos from a great photo shoot with Michelle Williams Carroll of shots of The Reverend Raymond Nader. There are so many good photos, it’s hard to choose what to put online!
  • I did a print ad for Humira back in June and I have some images from that shoot to put online. Nothing fantastic, but something.
  • As for video, I have footage from Diet Dr. Pepper Love at First Sip Presented by Yahoo! to get onto my site. For that event, I was the host.
  • Which reminds me: I have footage of my interviews with Deepak Chopra and Russell Simmons and other fun videos that I did from the Yahoo! Answers World’s Biggest Brain webcast from Times Square. I was the show’s host. I want to get more of those videos online.
  • Also, for Infusion Development I did a fun video with its CEO Greg Brill that spoofs the Mac vs. PC ads. I want to get that online because it’s funny!
  • And then there’s my running blog. I don’t plan a marathon until November 2010 so I have some time.
  • I also have my personal blog. Not really prioritizing that.
  • And I have an idea for a special website for a particular career interest I have. I’ll probably let you know once I’ve launched it. I may work on that in February.

I’m relieved that with most of my website built, my life is starting to come together and things are in better order. I might even start to have some freetime. (Not! I have a book to finish!) Here’s to hoping. Cheers!
